Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) is a chronic complex syndrome characterized by the inability of heart to support circulation peripheral organs and may cause negative effects on whole human body systems. CHF survivors develop poor adaptation quality life also death. Roy's theory model-based intervention aid in improving patient fulfillment physiological needs, self-concept, role function, interdependence. The purpose this case study was apply model patients with CHF. results showed that adaptive mal behavior becomes priority problem low cardiac output focal stimuli: increased afterload, preload, contractility, changes rate. history hypertension, diabetes mellitus, non-adherence were included contextual stimulus. smoking residual Two mechanisms regulatory cognitive control are used as nursing interventions. Results performed physiological-physical had no diuretic injection, capable endure fluid restriction, adequate balance. Moreover, adapted lifestyle supported their families. It recommended provide disease clinical setting.
